Drivers licensed in another jurisdiction applying for a Nevada license (new residents)
Currently licensed in the U.S., U.S. Territories or Canada and 21 years of age or older
Currently licensed in the U.S., U.S. Territories or Canada and under 21
Currently licensed in the U.S., U.S. Territories or Canada but has misplaced the actual license
Three or more moving violations in the last four years
Any suspension, revocation, cancellation or other disqualification in the last four years
Any DUI conviction within the past seven years
Has license restrictions that require reevaluation of driving skills
Currently licensed in a foreign country other than Canada (a skills test waiver may be granted to Taiwan nationals.)
Drivers renewing an existing Nevada license
Three or more moving violations within the last four years
Any instruction permit renewal for a permit expired more than 30 days
Any license expired more than one year but less than four years
Any license expired more than four years
Drivers reinstating an existing Nevada license
Six or more moving violations within the last four years
Any instruction permit renewal for a permit expired more than 30 days
Any crash in which the applicant was at fault during the one-year period immediately preceding the date of reinstatement
Drivers making changes to an existing Nevada license
Adding endorsements, or adding/removing certain restrictions
Adding Class M (motorcycle license) after completing a MOST course
Adding Class M (motorcycle license) without MOST course
Changing from Class C to Class B or A, or Class B to A
Changing from Class C to Class B or A, or Class B to A
