The Nevada DMV is now offering Quick Cards, a new service that lets eligible customers begin their journey of applying for a first-time license, ID card, instruction permit or DAC online. Reduce the time spent in an office and submit your application anytime, anywhere.

Please note that you will have to visit an office to pay, show your required licensing or identification documents and take your photo. See what documents are required before you begin here.

Who is Eligible?

All customers are eligible to use this service except:

  • Those who are under the age of 18
  • Those who are a seasonal resident
  • Those who have a commercial driver's license (CDL) or applying for a CDL/instruction permit

  • Those who require an alternate address/confidential address program exemption
  • Those who are seeking a renewal, duplicate or address change on an existing Nevada credential

    • These transactions can be completed on MyDMV.

Please note, you should only start the online application process if you meet the requirements and are able to pay and take your photo in office.
