NEVADA DMV ENHANCES RAPID REGISTRATION, TURBO TITLES AND QUICK CARDS

Online payment and mail fulfillment help Nevadans complete services faster

CARSON CITY – The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) today announced significant enhancements to its Department Transformation Effort (DTE) products, Rapid Registration, Turbo Titles and Quick Cards.

These updates build on the DMV’s ongoing effort to modernize services and provide Nevadans with faster and more convenient options through the DriveNV portal. Turbo Titles and Rapid Registration allow customers to begin the titling and registration process online, reducing time spent at DMV offices, while Quick Cards allow customers to fast-track their identification application and save time when finishing the process in office.

“With each enhancement release, we are one step closer to bringing customers a completely seamless experience with the DMV,” said DMV Director Tonya Laney. “This release was no small effort, and we are excited for Nevadans to see how much can really be done online.”

The latest enhancements introduce a more streamlined experience for the customer with:

  • Additional Title & Registration Options – Customers can now process mopeds, tri-mobiles, and trailers through the online system
  • New Title Scenarios – Expanded eligibility for estate successors, transfer on death, and newly built vehicles
  • Online Payments & Mail Fulfillment – Continued progress toward fully digital transactions with fewer in-office visits
  • New Disabled Placard Products – Additional options including permanent, moderate, and temporary placards
  • Quick Card Enhancements – Faster and more efficient processing for eligible transactions

“I would say most customers will be excited about the online payment and mail fulfillment portion of this release,” said Laney. “If we can reduce the amount of trips to an office, then we know we did our jobs right. Going online not only saves the customer time, but it helps those who really rely on in-person services to be helped sooner and more efficiently.”
