TURBO TITLES NOW AVAILABLE IN ALL DMV OFFICES |
More than 3,000 Applications Submitted Since January |
CARSON CITY – The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles’ (DMV) most recent transformation product, Turbo Titles, is now available in all offices statewide. Nevadans can now apply for a new or duplicate title online with a DriveNV account. “We are so thrilled to see another successful product rollout to our customers,” stated DMV Director Tonya Laney. “In just a few short months, we have seen tremendous value in this service, and I am excited to see how many more customers find ease and convenience with it.” Turbo Titles is available to those who purchased or leased a vehicle from an out-of-state dealer, received a vehicle from a private party, new Nevada residents with an existing vehicle, and customers in need of a duplicate Nevada title. Turbo Titles first launched in the Elko and Sahara DMV offices on January 13, joining the parent product, Rapid Registration, which had its statewide release in December 2024. As of only two weeks ago, both products have undergone enhancements, which intend to make the user experience more seamless. The customer can now log into the DriveNV portal and go through one titling and registration application process. A “quick fill capability” has also been introduced where the customer’s information will automatically be entered into the other respective title or registration application, saving time and making the experience more convenient. Turbo Titles is still in its first product phase, meaning that customers statewide will have to pay for their title in an office and wait for it to be mailed to the address provided. “There is already development on the horizon to build a better automated process,” Laney said. “Our team is working hard to deliver an easier online experience.” For more information on Turbo Titles, check here. |
