NEVADA DMV TRANSFORMATION ANNOUNCES PAPERLESS eNOTICE INITIATIVE: |
Customers can receive notifications faster for registration and driver's license renewals |
CARSON CITY – The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Transformation Effort (DTE) has launched its latest modernization initiative, which encourages customers to select online notifications on their MyDMV accounts for the quickest and most efficient communication. “The DMV is currently standing in such a great place and achieving so many transformational goals,” said DMV Director Tonya Laney. “I think it was due time of giving this online renewal notice effort a proper name and really breathing life into it.” The eNotice Initiative aims to highlight the benefits of enrolling in paperless notices through faster notification delivery, cost savings, and overall increased efficiency. In addition, individuals can feel assured as their notifications will be delivered to their email accounts of choice. All these perks are embodied in the tagline, “Get it Fast, Get it Digital,” which symbolizes the significance of the DMV’s online movement. One way to go paperless is in the MyDMV portal, where customers will find an option to opt-in for electronic renewal and insurance notices through email – validated by a green check mark. This can be unselected at any time if an individual wishes to resort to physical mail. Please note that only one option can be selected at a time. There are currently more than two dozen services that customers can complete online with a MyDMV or DriveNV account, with more scheduled to be released in the near future. “If you are wanting quicker, more efficient notices from the DMV, electronic notifications are the way to go,” said Laney. “Save your time, save the trees, and renew easier today!” For more information on eNotice, check here. |
