DUI Schools
These schools offer classes for drivers to complete DUI sentencing. Ensure the school you choose is acceptable to the court before you enroll.
Courses listed here do not fulfill the requirements for non-DUI traffic offenses, demerit point reductions or general driver training. See Traffic Safety Schools or Schools for Training Drivers.
The DMV licenses and monitors schools but does not regulate pricing or schedules. These listings are provided as a courtesy to the public. The DMV does not rate, endorse or recommend schools. Contact the Compliance Enforcement Division if you have a complaint.
You do not have to attend a school in your city of residence. The type of course offered by each school are indicated with checkmarks.

In early 2024, the DMV and State of Nevada adopted regulations to upgrade and clarify curriculum requirements for DUI schools and the quality of coursework offered to persons taking this type of court-ordered instruction.
Schools offering education to impaired drivers must adhere to new standards for instruction. Specifically, programs must provide an evidence-based early intervention program, increase the required hours in the educational component from 8 to 12, deliver coursework in a synchronous manner, and maintain staff instructors trained and qualified to deliver these upgraded coursework standards.
The DMV has identified two curricula as currently meeting the revised guidelines: Change Companies’ Interactive Journaling, and; Prevention Research Institute’s (PRI) Prime For Life. DUI schools may adopt one of these programs to deliver instruction to students. Alternatively, the DMV will also be issuing guidance in the future regarding how schools must develop new materials and instructor qualifications if they desire to use a different curriculum but similar in standard to Change Companies or PRI. When prospective students are looking to choose a school, they need to ensure that they meet the new requirements and are acceptable to the court before they enroll.
