Media contact now based in Northern Nevada |
CARSON CITY – The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles has expanded its media relations team by adding Public Information Officer Brett Fisher to the agency’s Carson City office. He also served on the public relations staff for Travel Nevada – the Nevada Division of Tourism – before joining the DMV. “I am very excited to be part of the Nevada DMV team,” Fisher said. “This is an organization that I have been impressed with since moving to the Silver State more than 18 years ago.” His first interaction with official Nevada was at a DMV office, Fisher said, and it was so refreshing that the state agency left a lasting impression on him. “The people at the Nevada DMV helped me to feel so welcome as a new resident,” he said. “This agency is doing things right, because every experience I’ve had at the DMV since then has continued to be positive.” Fisher said what he looks forward to most in his role is helping the DMV serve Nevadans through relationship building. “From community partners to vendors and customers, paying forward the kind of experience I have had with the DMV is important to me,” he said. |
